Provincial Nominee Program

Each province and territory, except Quebec and Nunavut, runs its own nominee program. A nomination linked to Express Entry adds 600 CRS points, which can move a profile to the front of the next draw.

Who it suits

Is PNP for you?

  • Candidates whose CRS score is below the general draw cut-off
  • People whose occupation is in demand in a particular province
  • People with a job offer, past work or study in a province

The basics

What Canada looks for

  • Each province sets its own streams, occupations and rules
  • Some streams need a job offer or a link to the province; others do not
  • A nomination through an Express Entry-linked stream adds 600 CRS points
  • Streams open, pause and change often, so timing matters
